Kate Kamerrer
Kate Kamerrer is currently serving as President-Elect on the PCAPPA board. She has previously served as Co-Treasurer and Treasurer. While serving as President-Elect, she is serving in an interim role as Treasurer. In her 25th year at Washington State University, Kate is the Assistant Vice President of Capital Budget and Facilities Business Administration for Facilities Services, on the Pullman campus. In addition to serving as the university’s Capital Budget Officer, Kate is responsible for Custodial Services, Grounds, Heavy Equipment, Motor Pool, Waste Management including Surplus Stores, Compost and Recycling, Supply Management Services (University Stores and Central Receiving), Space/GIS and Archives, and Facilities Administration – Accounting and Budget, Payroll and Personnel, Information Technology, and Contract Management.
Kate is a life-long resident of the Pacific Northwest, a graduate of Washington State University, and active in her family’s 5th generation, Century Farm. She and her husband, along with their youngest son, raise wheat, garbanzo beans and canola on just under 3000 acres southwest of Pullman. In addition to her BA in English from WSU, Kate also holds an MBA in Management and Strategy and CEFP credentials. Her hobbies include cheering on the Cougs with both of her sons and their families, gardening, spoiling her granddaughters, and hiking and biking the trails and byways of Washington, Idaho, and Oregon.
