PCAPPA Scholarship Program
The PCAPPA Board is committed to promoting, encouraging and providing financial assistance to its members through a formal scholarship program. The Educational Task Force Committee is pleased to present a formal scholarship application process for PCAPPA approved educational seminars. By providing financial assistance, PCAPPA promotes its mission and achieves one of the on-going strategic goals. Members are encouraged to participate by completing the formal application and documentation requirements for this program.
The selection and awards process is a responsibility of the Educational Task Force Committee. Committee members evaluate eligible applications and rank candidates based on the application information and submittal of the required documentation.
Awards are based on ranking of the applications and seminar costs. The total disbursement will be based upon funds available. Recipients will receive award letters, while eligible applicants, who do not receive awards for this scholarship, will be placed on an alternate list. Scholarship funds are disbursed in payments directly to the seminar being attended and the Committee may also award financial assistance to the scholarship recipient, if it’s deemed appropriate. It is also expected that scholarship awardees will prepare a written summary to the Committee of the value-added experience after attending the seminars.
