PCAPPA Application Process

THE APPLICATION PROCESS for a 2016-2017 PCAPPA SCHOLARSHIP is as follows:

  1. Only PCAPPA members eligible.
  2. No individual may receive more than one scholarship in three years. An Institution who has a member receive a scholarship may not have another member receive a scholarship the following year.
  3. Applicant should submit resume with your work experience.
  4. Applicants should submit a brief paragraph about yourself describing your career goals and how this scholarship will assist you.
  5. Applicants must have a statement of support from their Director stating:
    1. How long they have been in the facility management field
    2. What position they currently hold
    3. How attendance at the desired function will help the individual as well as the campus
    4. How long the Director has known the applicant and how long the applicant has been in their current position.
    5. For Toolkit training scholarships the Director must acknowledge the recipient may be asked once a year to provide training and the school, according to operational necessity, will be supportive of such a request.  This acknowledgement is requested as the success of any trainer is dependent on the support given by the trainer’s school

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE SCHOLARSHIP?

Leadership Academy, Facilities Institute: 

Up to $2,000 reimbursed in priority, for Registration, Travel, Lodging at Conference Hotel and finally Dining Expenses

Supervisor’s Toolkit:

Up to $1,500 reimbursed in priority, for Registration, Travel, Lodging at Conference Hotel and finally Dining Expenses

PCAPPA Annual Conference:

Up to $1,500 reimbursed in priority, for Registration, Travel, Lodging at Conference Hotel and finally Dining Expenses
